SC Concordia Hamburg

Founded in 1907, in the relatively well-to-do section of Marienthal as SC Concordia Wandsbeck. They merged with Germania in 1923, and finally decided on the current name in 1937. In it's earlier years, it was somewhat successful, along the likes of Altona or Viktoria. However, with the rise of HSV and St.Pauli, they pretty much fell by the wayside.

After dropping out of the 3rd division in the later 90s, they held on for a couple of years, before finally collapsing in the milenium year. They barely avoided bankruptcy, but luckily the finances have improved since then.

Located on Octaviostraße, it was built in 1924, largely with volunteer labor. The original capacity was about 12,000. The opener was a 1-16 loss to HSV. Floodlights were added in 1957.
