FC Bayern Hof

Founded in 1910 as Ballspielclub Hof, in 1913 it was known as FC Britannia until it became FC Bayern shortly thereafter.

The strongest period of the club was perhaps the 10 years from the mid 1960s to 1970s. Led by forward Bobby Breuer, Hof was a powerhouse in the 2nd division Regionalliga Sud, but by the end peetered out relegated from the 2.Liga Sud into the Bayernliga, where they've pretty much been stuck since.

Stadium Grüne Au Capacity: 22,000
Construction started in 1913, although they planted potatoes in the field in 1916 during WWI. The Tribune was added in 1949.
