A village club that has grown in recent years, threatening to become the no.2 in Köln behind 1.FC...
It was founded by 4 friends in 1946 at the "Gaststätte Zum Strößje", and has since grown to some 700 members. Supposedly by the 50th anniversary in 1996, the club was in crisis, not only financially, but also from jealousy from the worthless sports (like badminton, gymnastics and ping-pong). However the new club directors "set everything straight" and the soccer section began climbing up the ladder rapidly.
