A small club based in western Berlin. The most successful years were before WWI, as they won the Berlin Championship 3 years running (1899,1900,1901) and again in 1910 and 1912.
The club was actually a split from an existing club, Helvelia. Some members left in 1894 to form BFC Friedrich Wilhelm, although they became simply Preussen a year later. The club was dissolved like everything else in 1945, but by 1949, they were back in business.
The highpoint of the modern era was probably in 1980, when they lost out to SC Göttingen 05 in the playoff promotion to the 2.Liga-Nord (0:1 and 1:1)
