Türkiyemspor Berlin Türkiyemspor Berlin This club was founded in 1978 by the large Turkish community in Berlin. Originally it was created by immigrants from Izmir, and was known as BFC Izmirspor, but became more general "Turkish" in 1985.
Obviously most of the players are Turkish or Turkish descent, but there are a few non-Turks, including Germans, that have played for the club. On the field, the club has had moderate success, usually somewhere in the 4th division. The main problem seems to be lack of fan support and money. In fact, Türkiyemspor is often referred to as the "Zehnmonatsklub" ("Ten-month-club"), because they usually don't have enough money to pay the players their full monthly wages.
