VfB Wissen

A small club whose main momnet in the sun was a Regionalliga season in 1994.

The club was founded in February 1914, after earlier attempts to get out from under the oppression of the gymnasts had proven less successful. The first official matches were carried out that summer. The "Frankenthal-Kampfbahn" became the club field in 1922, which lasted until 1955.
