The leading club of the Turkish community in Köln.
The club was founded in 1974. Obviously most of the players are Turkish, but there were also several Germans in the starting lineup as of 2004 Oberliga season. After a respectable first Oberliga season, the Yurdumspor lost their first 8 matches in a row, and never recovered. Instead, they got clubbed 0-12 against 1.FC Bocholt, 1-9 to Gladbach amateurs and 0-7 to Düren. They managed to stay up with luck, but by 2006, they were forcibly relegated and all the season's results were annulled. The financial situation was in shambles, and the club was dissolved.
