A somewhat nerve wracking game. It soon became apparent that the Poles were only interested in a point, and they pretty much withdrew into a defensive shell. Their keeper Boruc was quite sharp, and they were able to fend off the constant German attacks. At the end, when most had resigned to a draw, "Joker" Oli Neuville struck a dagger into the hearts of Poland and got Germany the deserved victory.
